Getting Started
- Launch Thunderbird which will guide you through initial configuration.
- Mail Account Setup
- Your Name: First Last
- Email Address: loginname@cs.uoregon.edu
- Click Continue
- Click the Stop button in the frame that says Thunderbird is looking up the settings for your email account. It won't find them.
- Editing Config
- Username: your loginname
- Incoming: mail.cs.uoregon.edu IMAP 993 SSL/TLS
- Outgoing: mail.cs.uoregon.edu SMTP 587 STARTTLS
You should now be able to read your email.
