Wireless Network

• The wireless network on campus is managed by UofO Information Technology. You can find information about connecting on their website.
• You can configure your wireless access so you don't have to type a password each time you connect. Connect to "UO WiFi Setup" to configure connection to UO Secure. More info UO Secure.
• Guest Access.
  • Individuals can request guest wireless access. Guest Access FAQ.
    1. On your computer or mobile device, select the "UO Guest" network.
    2. Click "Accept" to accept the Acceptable Use Policy. You should then be connected to the UO Guest wireless network.

DNS: Domain Name Service

• On campus your computer will probably be automatically configured to use one of U of O name servers.
