Ix is the main server for users. It serves your web pages at the URL http://ix.cs.uoregon.edu/~username. You can also run your own services like mysql or postgres using our installed versions or you can write or compile your own server. If you have a server and want it to automatically restart after ix reboots you can add a crontab entry by using the crontab -e command. The crontab command can also be used to cause commands to execute at other specific times (use the man crontab command on ix.)
