Direct IP Printing

  • Open Software Center and search for "Xerox Printer Drivers".
  • Click to install that package. Note: after it finishes it will revert to saying "Install" as if nothing happened. Do not worry about that.

  • Open System Settings → Printers & Scanners → **Add Printer**.
  • At the top, switch to the **IP** tab.
  • The IP can be found on the main printer page.
  • Address: Enter the printer IP address (e.g., 10.128.4.x)
  • Protocol: LPD
  • Queue: leave blank
  • Name: Choose any friendly name you prefer.
  • If the location or model do not automatically populate, something is wrong. Check that:the printer is turned on, you are either hard wired into the network, or on UOSecure or UOVPN
