Direct IP Printing
- Open Software Center and search for "Xerox Printer Drivers".
- Click to install that package.
Note: after it finishes it will revert to saying "Install" as if nothing happened. Do not worry about that.
- Open System Settings → Printers & Scanners → **Add Printer**.
- At the top, switch to the **IP** tab.
- The IP can be found on the main printer page.
- Address: Enter the printer IP address (e.g., 10.128.4.x)
- Protocol: LPD
- Queue: leave blank
- Name: Choose any friendly name you prefer.
- If the location or model do not automatically populate, something is wrong. Check that:the printer is turned on, you are either hard wired into the network, or on UOSecure or UOVPN
- Click Add and you're done.
Print Server Settings
If the above method does not work or you are having driver issues, you can try the print server method.
