- Firefox only allows one copy to run at a time. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_in_use
So, you should log out of or quit Firefox on one computer before starting on another. Alternatively, you could use a separate user profile for each instance of Firefox. If you start Firefox from the command line you can start the Profile Manager which will let you create multiple profiles.
